  If there is one thing, I would say that the lovely homemade soup was a tad too salty but that's all.

  La Chara has a set price menu at around 20 Euros for a 3 course meal plus and alchoholic drink plus coffee and a liquer at the end of the meal. This restaurant attracts custom from all over so you need to ensure you book a table. Recommended is the pate and port starter and the ice cream and pastry desert with warm chocolate sauce. Try it you'll love it.

  My husband and I lunched at La Chara (the one on the road) last week and decided to try the Menu of The Day and it was fantastic and such good value for money. In my opinion it is the best MOTDay in the area!

  Had Menu del Dia (lunch) here today. Food was good value 4 courses, some better than others (lamb was a bit salty and greasy but acceptable) but all ok. Best of all was the customer service today, quick and attentive. A fellow diner dropped their knife and within seconds the waiter came running with a new one!
